Nana Konadu Wins GMB Legacy Edition

20 YEARS, 20 seasons, 16 regions and, for the first time, the Bono Nkyerem people can now brag as 2026 winners of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB).

Twenty-year-old Nana Nhyiraba Obeng Konadu, with stage name Nana Konadu, became the 20th contestant to be crowned winner of the legacy edition of TV3‘s Ghana’s Most Beautiful, making Bonoman the reigning region of the year.

The highest the region, formerly Brong Ahafo, had ever achieved at Ghana’s Most Beautiful was 3rd place with Kwartemaa in 2023 and 2nd place with Ohemaa in 2018. Nana Konadu’s win has therefore rewritten the history books for her people.

The grand finale, held at the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday, October 18, 2026, saw six finalists battle for the crown after 12 weeks of cultural tasks and evictions. At the end of the night: Winner: Nana Konadu – Bono Region won MG ZS Deluxe Edition car and GH¢200,000 cash among other goodies.

The 1st Runner-up: Sessinam – Volta Region – GH¢100,000, 2nd Runner-up: Ampomaa – Ashanti Region – GH¢50,000; 3rd Runner-up: Ayinboma – Upper East Region – GH¢30,000; 4th Runner-up: Lamiley – Greater Accra Region – GH¢20,000; 5th Runner-up: Tiwaa – Western North Region – GH¢10,000.

The crowd erupted in excitement as Nana Konadu was crowned. The National Theatre was buzzing with cheers, drumming and waving of flags as Bono supporters celebrated the long-awaited victory.

Ghana’s Most Beautiful, which is TV3‘s flagship cultural pageant, was created to promote national unity, showcase Ghana’s rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, as well as empower young women to become cultural ambassadors and agents of development in their regions.

Nana Konadu succeeds Etornam of the Volta Region who won the 2025 edition, and becomes the first queen from the Bono Region since the pageant began in 2007.
