List of DCP Leaders Who Joined Gachagua in Hosting Sifuna,Natembeya and Linda Mwanachi at Wamunyoro

Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua has hosted Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and other leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement at his Wamunyoro residence in Nyeri.

The meeting took place on Tuesday, October 20, hours after Gachagua returned from the United States. He welcomed the delegation alongside his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, in a gathering that has drawn attention to possible cooperation among opposition leaders ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Gachagua described the visitors as his cousins from Linda Mwananchi, adding that great things could happen when leaders come together. However, he did not announce a formal coalition agreement.

Several DCP-allied leaders were also present during the meeting. They included:

Cleophas Malala – DCP Deputy Party Leader.

John Methu – Nyandarua Senator and DCP Secretary-General-designate.

Dorcas Rigathi – Wife of Rigathi Gachagua.

The visiting delegation included Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, former Law Society of Kenya President Faith Odhiambo and Bumula MP Jack Wamboka, alongside Sifuna, Natembeya, Babu Owino and political commentator Pauline Njoroge.

The meeting brings together Gachagua’s DCP leadership and prominent figures associated with Linda Mwananchi at a time when opposition politicians are positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 polls.

Whether the encounter will lead to a formal political alliance remains unclear. For now, Gachagua’s public message points to a willingness to engage leaders beyond his own party as political realignments continue to take shape.
