Caleb Amisi Sends Stern Message To Sifuna After His Meeting With Gachagua In Nyeri Today

Caleb Amisi has warned after Sifuna met Gachagua. The Saboti MP says the outcome of the meeting will decide whether the opposition narrative can be sold to Kenyans.

In a post on X on Tuesday October 20 Amisi said he would stand with Sifuna if Gachagua is the one supporting him. He added that his team would be there no matter what.

However he cautioned that things would turn sour if the reverse happens. He said that if Sifuna ends up supporting Gachagua then there would be a big problem. In his words the narrative would be very hard to sell.

Amisi ended the post with a push for his own party. He used the PM Party slogan that change is now and that if it is not now then it is now anyway.

The MP has long claimed a founding role in the Linda Mwananchi movement. He says he started the earlier Kenya Moja grouping with the blessing of Raila Odinga. He later helped shape the movement as a vehicle for generational change and a younger presidential candidate.

In mid-2026 he grew critical of its direction. He accused late entrants such as Governors George Natembeya and James Orengo of diluting its youth-focused agenda.

By August he had launched his own People’s Renaissance Movement known as the PM Party. He described it as a vehicle for economic liberation. In September he confirmed that he had been removed from Linda Mwananchi WhatsApp groups. He also said his supporters were being branded moles.

Despite the split Amisi has not fully walked away. He welcomed the approval that allowed the Equitable Party to rebrand as Linda Mwananchi. He continues to promote his own rallies and recruitment ahead of 2027.
