The stars were out in force for the 2026 Pride of Britain Awards held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday night.

Despite the chilly autumn temperatures, it was a red carpet to remember with an array of stylish displays – including from host Carol Vorderman, 65, who wore a glitzy black gown.

She looked stunning in the off-the-shoulder dress which clung to her hourglass curves, while debuting a glamorous new darker hair colour.

Also enjoying the evening out was presenter Olivia Attwood, 35, who wore a silk red and black halterneck dress, while documentary maker Zara McDermott, 29, wore a strapless black number.

This Morning stars Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard also posed together as they arrived, with the blonde beauty, 49, wowing in a sheer nude dress.

Elsewhere Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, 36, cut a glamorous figure in a strapless black gown as she posed up a storm.

Reality star Charlotte Crosby, 36, was also in attendance and looked gorgeous in a sweeping pink gown.

Presenter Davina McCall, 59, was also enjoying the event as she arrived in nude corset-style dress with a flowing black skirt.

Meanwhile former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James, 39, channelled old school Hollywood glamour in a silk red dress.

Love Islanders Samie Elishi and Tyrique Hyde also arrived – a few hours after revealing they are expecting their first child together in a sweet Instagram post.

Princess Andre, 19, and her brother Junior, 21, also made a glamorous arrival, with the star wowing in a glitzy red dress.

Co-hosted by Carol and Ashley Banjo, the glitzy annual event honours the nation’s unsung everyday heroes.

While the glamorous red carpet is in full swing, the show will not actually be televised until this Thursday at 8pm – where viewers can catch all the magic of the event.

After making his debut as a co-presenter in 2021, Diversity star Ashley, 38, is back alongside Countdown icon Carol this year.

And while it is one of the biggest events in the showbiz calendar, it is the real people winning accolades who are the proper stars of the show.

The winners have already been chosen by the Pride of Britain judging panel from a shortlist drawn up after public nominations were received.

The awards recognise everyday people and celebrate the bravery of those who work tirelessly to support charities.

Andrew Franks has won the Outstanding Bravery award. He was the volunteer security guard who intervened during the 2025 terror attack at a Manchester synagogue.

He bought vital time for the congregation to barricade themselves behind the doors when Jihad Al-Shamie launched a horrific attack outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue.

The Lifetime Achievement award has gone to Asif Hasan – a heart surgeon who saved hundreds of critically ill children.

The King’s Trust Young Achiever award has gone to Brandon Hulcoop – a young blind man who launched his own business to create accessible products for the visually impaired.

The P&O Cruises Inspiration Award has gone to Elaine Oakey – a dedicated mum who has spent more than a decade transforming the lives of young amputees through football.

Elaine’s mission was inspired by her son Jamie, 23, who was born without a foot and missing the lower part of his right leg.

Elsewhere, Gregor Corse won the Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year award.

The five-year-old with a neurological condition raised £80,000 for charity with inspirational walking challenges.

He said: ‘Doing my walking is making me so happy to raise money for charity and I love all the awesome messages from people.’

Host Carol said: ‘Presenting Pride of Britain is one of the greatest privileges of my life. No matter how many years I’ve been lucky enough to do it, I’m still completely humbled by our winners and their extraordinary stories.

‘They’ve shown incredible courage, kindness and determination, often in circumstances most of us can barely imagine.

‘This night belongs to them. We might have the famous faces, the glamour and the big celebration, but our winners are the real stars, and giving them the recognition and the night they deserve is what Pride of Britain is all about.’

Ashley added: ‘Every year I’m so inspired by our winners, who show incredible courage, kindness and strength, often at the toughest moments of their lives.

‘Being able to celebrate them, hear their stories and give them the recognition they deserve is a real privilege. They’re the true stars of the night and I can’t wait for them all to have their winning moment!.’
