$1M bond for man accused of killing woman at local gym

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WJW) — A local man accused of shooting and killing a woman inside the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium over the weekend is being held on a $1 million cash bond and has pleaded not guilty.

Craig Alan Sipe, 63, of Akron, has been charged with one count of aggravated murder.

According to police, at about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, the victim was inside the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium when the suspect entered the gym and shot her. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.

The Summit County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Sharon A. Dorn, 61, of Stow.

The shooting is believed to be domestic-related.
