Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has opened up on what it feels like to work with actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele.

Kosoko spoke during an interview on the African A-List podcast, where he described Akindele’s work ethic as intense and unmatched.

According to him, the filmmaker is a perfectionist who pays attention to the smallest details on set and can reshoot a scene multiple times until she gets what she wants.

He revealed that Akindele can shoot a single scene up to 15 times, a process that demands patience and stamina from actors.

Kosoko described her as exceptionally hardworking, noting that even men struggle to match her energy.

He also disclosed that she is left-handed while sharing observations about her.

He said during the interview: “Funke is very hardworking, even if you are a man you can’t match her energy. She is left-handed. Whenever Funke calls me for a job I am always scared, you can shoot a scene 15 times.

“And She may come the following day thinking of shooting another scene, but then she will say “We have to shoot those scenes again because of the plates they brought.”
