Broadcast journalist and lawyer, Umaru Sanda Amadu has explained why he deliberately uses the nickname ‘Cowboy’, saying it is part of his effort to challenge stereotypes and prejudices against herdsmen.Speaking on Channel One TV’s The Point of View, Mr Amadu said he adopted the nickname to challenge stereotypes about herdsmen and tell his own story, a conviction reflected in his return to his hometown for a photo shoot after being called to the Ghana Bar on October 9, 2026.
