UCL Table After Liverpool Won 6-3
According to a report by BBC SPORT on Wednesday October 14, 2026, Liverpool secured an impressive 6-3 victory over LASK in their Champions League clash, after producing an excellent first-half performance before conceding three goals after the break.
Ronald Araujo, Bradley Barcola, Jeremie Frimpong, and Lewis Koumas were among the goalscorers as Liverpool claimed a convincing win despite LASK’s second-half fightback.
Liverpool started the encounter confidently and dominated possession, putting the Austrian side under pressure from the opening minutes. Florian Wirtz created opportunities for his teammates, while Konstantinos Tsimikas provided a dangerous outlet from the left flank.
The visitors eventually took the lead in the 22nd minute when Tsimikas delivered an excellent corner into the penalty area. Ronald Araujo rose above the defenders and directed a powerful header into the net to make it 1-0.
Liverpool doubled their advantage two minutes later through Bradley Barcola. Lewis Koumas played an important role in the build-up before setting up the French forward, who finished confidently past goalkeeper Lukas Jungwirth.
Barcola continued to trouble the opposition defence and scored his second goal in the 37th minute. Wirtz supplied an excellent through ball into the penalty area, allowing the forward to find the bottom-right corner and give Liverpool a three-goal advantage at halftime.
The visitors extended their lead shortly after the restart when Jeremie Frimpong connected with a beautifully delivered cross from Tsimikas in the 51st minute. His header found the net to make it 4-0.
LASK responded through Robert Ljubicic, who finished clinically in the 63rd minute after receiving a precise pass from Yvan Dibango. However, Liverpool quickly restored their four-goal advantage when Barcola scored his third goal in the 66th minute after Frimpong provided the assist.
Koumas then made it 6-1 in the 72nd minute, finishing a superb lofted pass from Frimpong with a low shot into the net.
LASK refused to surrender and reduced the deficit through Florian Flecker, who scored twice in the 74th and 77th minutes to complete his brace.
Despite the late pressure, Liverpool maintained their advantage until the final whistle, securing a 6-3 victory after an entertaining encounter.
