Official: Ghanaian Midfielder Isaac Nortey Joins Bahla Club Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Nortey has completed a move to Omani side Bahla Club ahead of the 2026/27 football season, marking a new chapter in his professional career.

The transfer will see the Ghanaian footballer continue his career in the Oman Professional League as he looks to make an impact at his new club. His arrival is expected to provide another option in midfield as Bahla Club prepares for the upcoming campaign.

Nortey’s move to Oman also presents an opportunity for him to gain valuable experience outside Ghana and further develop his game in a different football environment. Playing abroad can offer players the chance to improve their tactical understanding, adapt to new challenges and compete against different styles of opposition.

For the midfielder, joining Bahla Club represents an important step as he seeks to establish himself in the team and contribute to the club’s ambitions for the 2026/27 season.

Bahla Club will be hoping that Nortey can bring energy, discipline and quality to the middle of the pitch. Midfielders play an important role in connecting defence with attack, controlling possession and helping their teams maintain balance throughout matches.

Nortey will therefore be keen to settle into his new surroundings, build a strong relationship with his teammates and earn the confidence of the technical team through his performances.

The move also adds to the growing presence of Ghanaian footballers in leagues outside the country. Ghanaian players continue to explore opportunities across different parts of the world in pursuit of regular playing time, professional growth and greater exposure.

However, Nortey’s success at Bahla Club will ultimately depend on how quickly he adapts to his new team and makes the most of the opportunities presented to him.

As preparations for the 2026/27 season continue, attention will turn to how the Ghanaian midfielder performs in his new colours. Supporters will be eager to see what he brings to the team and whether he can establish himself as an important player in the squad.

For now, Nortey begins a fresh challenge in Oman with the opportunity to prove his quality and make a positive impression at Bahla Club.
