Odumodublvck’s Lawyer Seeks More Time as Court Orders N125,000 Cost
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has been ordered to pay N125,000 in costs after his lawyer sought additional time to prepare for the next stage of an ongoing civil case against him in Abuja.
According to a report by The Punch on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, defence counsel Ikenna Magnus asked Justice J.O.E. Adeyemi-Ajayi to grant another date for cross-examination and defence, explaining that he had only recently joined the case and needed time to put his preparations in order.
The request was opposed by the claimant’s lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, who said his witness was already in court and prepared to proceed. Ojembe argued that another postponement would further delay the proceedings and requested N5 million in costs.
Magnus subsequently appealed to the court for leniency.
In her ruling, Justice Adeyemi-Ajayi awarded N125,000 against the rapper over the delay and fixed October 27 and 29 for the continuation of the matter.
The case was instituted by Ogbogiri Okey Levi, popularly known as Kraziecent, who alleges that Odumodublvck assaulted him at a public event in December 2024.
The claimant is seeking reimbursement of medical expenses and a public apology, or N2 billion in damages. The court has not yet delivered a final judgment on the underlying allegations.
