Manhunt Continues For Man Wanted Over Killing Of Three Boxer Employees In Eshowe, See Latest

Police in KwaZulu-Natal are still searching for a man wanted for allegedly killing three Boxer employees in Eshowe.

The three were attending his disciplinary hearing when they were shot on Saturday, 10 October 2026.

Journalist Sihle Mavuso shared an update on Wednesday, 14 October, saying the suspect is still at large.

According to the KZN Tonight Podcast, the Boxer Group says all the employees affected are receiving counselling.

Police say the suspect is a former employee who had gone to the store for his hearing.

He allegedly produced a firearm and shot three people, who were declared dead at the scene.

Thandiwe Chili, who is reportedly 54, is among the victims.

Her brother has told Daily Sun that workers at the store are searched when they leave but not when they arrive, and has asked whether this should change.

Boxer has reportedly also held a national moment of remembrance for the employees.

It was one of two deadly shootings in KwaZulu-Natal that day.

Earlier on Saturday, an off-duty police constable allegedly shot dead three women at a tavern in KwaMsane.

This article does not repeat the suspect’s name, because he has not been convicted of any crime.

Members of the public are advised not to approach him if they see him.
