Putin Bombs American Companies In Shock For U.S. Despite Trump Diesel Deal Amid Ukraine War

According to a report by The Times Of India, on Wednesday October 14, 2026, as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine grinds through a devastating winter preparation phase, a striking geopolitical paradox has emerged.

Russian missile and drone strikes are increasingly hitting facilities linked to major American corporations in Ukraine, even as the Trump administration intensifies pressure on Kyiv to halt its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure.

According to Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, recent months have seen an unprecedented scale of attacks on Western-linked business assets.

Facilities connected to global brands including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, and Oreo have suffered direct damage from Russian munitions.

Detailing the severity of the strikes, Hunder stated:

“Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, told CNN that Russian missiles and drones have damaged facilities connected to brands including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, McDonald’s and Oreo”

In September, a Coca-Cola facility outside Kyiv was struck by a Russian drone. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy argued that Moscow could not have been unaware that it was targeting an American company, calling it a direct signal to Washington.

Shortly afterward, a McDonald’s warehouse was similarly damaged, forcing the company to introduce a reduced menu due to supply disruptions, while PepsiCo acknowledged production facility damages in the Mykolaiv region.

Despite these developments, Hunder noted that some American companies are reluctant to discuss the repeated attacks publicly, while others are urging Washington to take a firmer stance.

The American Chamber reportedly sought meetings with U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner last month to address the crisis, though they received no response.
