Over 3k midday meal cooks await honorarium in Buxar

Buxar: More than 3,600 midday meal cooks in govt schools across Buxar district have not received their honorarium for the past four months, leaving many struggling to meet household and medical expenses.Several cooks said the prolonged delay had caused financial hardship. Seema Khatun of Dumraon block, who is suffering from an ailment, said the non-payment had made it difficult to meet medical and household expenses.
