A lady has expressed surprise after a young boy, reportedly between the ages of 14 and 18, allegedly approached her and attempted to woo her in Benin City, Edo State.

The incident sparked a reaction from the woman, who appeared taken aback by the boy’s boldness and questioned the behaviour of some young boys in the area.

Reacting to the encounter, she said: “All these 14–18-year-old boys in Benin, because you’re seeing money, you no longer respect your seniors?”

Her remark suggested that she believed the boy’s approach might have been influenced by the perception that she had money, although the circumstances surrounding the encounter remain unclear.
