ICE spotted in Moscow

ICE agents confronted a woman in the Palouse Mall parking lot Monday, but did not detain her, according to an anonymous source. The agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement appeared to check the woman’s identification and then released her, according to the source, who requested anonymity because they feared retribution. At least four-armed officers, two masked, in three vehicles arrived in the mall parking lot between Target and Marshall’s at about 12:15 pm. The source witnessed the officers confronting the woman and subsequently letting her go. The source stated the officers were armed and wearing vests that said, “Police and Department of Immigration.” The woman questioned appeared to be African American. The source also stated that there was a couple leaving the front entrance of Marshall’s appearing to be taking a video of the altercation, and it seemed as the couple approached, the officers left the scene.
