Pepperdine’s women’s swim and dive team opened its 2026-27 season with a win in Malibu.

Now the team’s photoshoot is drawing eyes online, with their stunning beach photos having dropped earlier this month.
World Athletes also posted some other photos on Monday. The account previously shared Yale’s swim and dive photoshoot in a post that went viral in September.
The post names no one. The Pepperdine roster lists 31 athletes for 2026-27, including eight seniors. That matches the headcount in one of the group shots, though the post never says the eight are the seniors.

Pepperdine joins a run of programs that have shared photoshoots for the season. UC San Diego’s team photoshoot spread on X in September, and Yale’s followed. Yale’s set included one athlete riding on a teammate’s back, while UC San Diego’s included cowboy boots. The trend later reached track with Tulane’s pole vault photoshoot.
Back in the pool, the Waves host San Diego State on Oct. 15, per the Pepperdine schedule. They then head to Long Beach for the MPSF Open Water Championships on Oct. 17. UC San Diego, whose own photos made the rounds, visits Malibu on Nov. 13.
The program finished sixth among 10 teams at last season’s MPSF Championships. Dan Marella led the team as interim coach then. Pepperdine named him head coach in March.
