An insider revealed that Diddy, 56, was doing much better, with the update about his recovery following reports that the fallen music mogul was transported from New Jersey's Fort Dix on Sunday, October 11, to a nearby medical facility due to a medical emergency. Diddy was reportedly taken by ambulance on Saturday around 1 AM so he could be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

At the time, the Bad Boy Records label founder, who was accused of forcing a victim to have a medical procedure last year, was reportedly conscious and speaking after the alleged incident.

"We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances," a rep from Diddy's camp told Page Six. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern,” the insider further expressed, adding, “and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

The outlet also confirmed that the disgraced music exec had to be rushed to the hospital after he hit his head on the bunk above him inside his cell at the minimum-security prison.

After a controversial, high-profile trial, Diddy was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months, which is a little over four-and-a-half years, in July 2025. Throughout the court proceedings, he repeatedly denied the accusations.

Diddy still makes headlines despite being behind bars, with the rapper sparking a major report last month when NBC uncovered his "pampered" life in prison.

NBC reported allegations from four anonymous prisoners who were in the same facility Diddy—some of the prisoners claimed that the Grammy-winning artist had people cooking, and cleaning for him along with giving him massages.

Also, the news outlet claimed that Diddy had “some rich s–t,” including premium liquor, antidepressants, and a cellphone, as the source claimed, “This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

The I'll Be Missing You rapper got placed in solitary confinement in July 2026 after he fought a fellow inmate after the inmate ticked off Diddy by "dissing" him.

Insiders claimed at the time that the two inmates started shoving each other before they began fist-fighting. Diddy reportedly "held his own" during the fight, but prison quickly broke up the fight and separated both men, according to insiders.

People Magazine reported that Bureau of Prisons records now list Diddy's release for March 2, 2028, after it was previously listed as January 21, 2028. However, his first release date was scheduled for May 8, 2028.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including reasons for a change in release date,” the BOP told People.
