AP Haj Committee Chief Discusses Arrangements for Haj 2027

Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee chairman Haji Sheikh Hasan Basha met Haj Committee of India chief executive officer Shanawaz C. (IAS) at the committee’s office in Mumbai on Tuesday to discuss arrangements for Haj 2027.

The discussions focused on facilities for pilgrims, travel coordination, service improvements and assistance during the annual pilgrimage.

Hasan Basha and Shanawaz discussed measures to ensure the smooth conduct of Haj 2027, with particular emphasis on pilgrims’ welfare and convenience. Hasan Basha stressed the need for coordination among the concerned authorities to ensure that pilgrims receive the necessary support and facilities throughout their journey.

He said the Andhra Pradesh government was committed to safeguarding the interests of Haj pilgrims and giving priority to their needs.

Hasan Basha said that, following the directions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and minority welfare minister N.M.D. Farooq, the government was prioritising pilgrims’ welfare and working to facilitate a smooth pilgrimage.

The meeting aimed to identify key requirements and strengthen coordination between the state Haj Committee and the Haj Committee of India well in advance of the 2027 pilgrimage.
