Mahama instructs Ato Forson to Allocate GH¢300m for 250 Police Apartments in 2027 Budget

President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to allocate GH¢300 million in the 2027 national budget to construct 250 apartments for police officers to ease congestion in barracks across the country.Speaking at the Commissioning of an Ultramodern Ward Facility at the Police Hospital on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, President Mahama said the proposed accommodation forms part of the government’s efforts to improve the welfare and working conditions of personnel.
