Zara McDermott has given fans a huge glimpse into her home life with boyfriend Louis Tomlinson in north London after months of staying tight-lipped.

The documentary presenter, 29, and One Direction star, 34, went public with their romance in June and she ā€œgradually relocatedā€ into his home several months later.

McDermott praised their ā€œbalanceā€ as the pair split their lives between LA, where Tomlinson’s son Freddie is, and the UK, where her friends, family and work are.

ā€œWe’ve lived together for a while now. Honestly, it’s just been amazing. I genuinely can’t even say one thing,ā€ she told Cosmopolitan for their latest cover.

ā€œHe’s like my Prince Charming. He’s like my fairy tale. He is genuinely the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my life.

ā€œHe’s an inspiration to me in so many ways. He is the most empathetic, considerate, kind person. He will always think about every single other person before himself, and I think that is such a rare quality to find in someone.ā€

Reflecting on their domestic life, the former Love Island star said there was a lot of lounging on the sofa, watching TV and having tea and biscuits.

She added that Tomlinson, who is from Yorkshire, was appalled by how she makes her tea and has since taught her to make a proper cuppa, insisting: ā€œLet it brew.ā€

As for how they met, the reality star remained coy and said that that information was ā€œsacredā€ to them as a couple.

They confirmed their romance on Instagram last summer when McDermott posted a picture of the pair kissing, with Tomlinson responding: ā€œI love you.ā€

Although it is believed that they started dating at the beginning of the year, they made their first official public appearance together at Glastonbury Festival in June 2025.

Footage shared on TikTok showed the couple embracing while watching a performance, with Tomlinson’s arms wrapped around McDermott.

According to friends, the pair spent much of the summer travelling before returning to the UK, where McDermott began using Tomlinson’s home as her base.

McDermott split from Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson in late 2024 after five years together.
