Sabyasachi to walk out of jail before Puja, Sujit denied bail

Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Tuesday granted interim bail to former Bidhannagar mayor Sabyasachi Dutta in an alleged extortion case , while rejecting the bail plea of former fire services minister Sujit Bose in a case connected with alleged irregularities in municipal recruitments. A single-judge bench of Justice Chaitali Chatterjee (Das) granted interim bail to Dutta in connection with the 2018 case.
