Diddy taken out of prison, hospitalized for head injury: Reports
(NewsNation) â Sean âDiddyâ Combs was transported from a New Jersey federal prison early Saturday to a nearby medical center due to a head injury, according to multiple reports.
TMZ reported Combs was taken from the FCI Fort Dix prison around 1 a.m. for treatment. People magazine confirmed he was hospitalized.
A representative for Combs told NewsNation, âWe are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Seanâs health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.â
It was not clear where he was treated or how he suffered the injury, but the music producer was conscious and speaking when he was taken back to the prison before sunrise Saturday.
Combsâ release date from FCI Fort Dix was recently pushed back to March 2, 2028. His previous release date was Jan. 21, 2028.
Combs, who is serving a 50-month prison sentence at the low-security prison, was reportedly put into solitary confinement Oct. 1.
It followed NBC Newsâ report that the rapper was receiving special treatment behind bars, including having men cook and clean for him, make his bed, do his laundry and give him Chinese-style massages.
The rapper was found guilty of two counts of transporting women for prostitution, including his ex-girlfriend Casandra âCassieâ Ventura, in July 2025.
