Former Kaizer Chiefs forward and TS Galaxy coach Bernard Parker has has sent Mzansi’s social media timelines into absolute chaos.

Parker shared the lengthy message ahead of TS Galaxy’s clash with Orlando Pirates, bringing his personal life into the spotlight in the middle of the local football scene.

In the unexpected post, he announced his separation from his partner Kacha Stepanovic while dropping a bombshell confession about battling “personal addictions.”

However, the announcement completely backfired.

Instead of focusing on the breakup, thousands of fans were left utterly bewildered by the relationship timeline, sparking a frantic wave of posts asking one burning question: What happened to Wendy?

“I have made mistakes and struggled with personal addictions that have affected my life and the people I love,” Parker wrote in the lengthy statement.

He did not specify the nature of those addictions.

The former Kaizer Chiefs striker also apologised directly to Kacha for the pain he had caused her, acknowledging that some things “cannot simply be undone with an apology.”

He confirmed that the couple has decided to part ways after three years together, stressing their shared dedication to their family moving forward.

“One thing that will never change is our commitment to our children. We will continue to co-parent and raise all 6 kids to become loving, respectful, strong and successful individuals. Our relationship as partners may have ended, but our love for our children and responsibility towards them will always remain,” Parker stated.

He concluded the emotional post by asking for privacy and writing, “JUST TRUST GOD.”

Shortly after his post went live, Kacha shared a brief but scathing message on her own account that appeared to address the situation directly.

“Lust and Addiction will strip you of your family, your work, your name and everything you built,” she warned.

She added a sharp final note: “If betrayal was so easy, the devil would be next seated at the throne. Make sure whatever you do is worth losing it all.”

The sudden revelation caught followers completely off guard.

For over a decade, Wendy Parker (formerly Wendy Cherry) was one of SA’s most famous football WAGs after their lavish, star-studded June 2012 wedding in Ballito.

Because the couple always privately and publicly presented as happily married — with Wendy offering massive emotional support during Bernard’s horrific, bone-snapping leg injury in late 2023 — the public assumed they were still together.

Because Parker claims he has already been with Kacha for three years, casual followers quickly realised the math wasn’t mathing.

Social media users immediately turned the comment section into an investigative boardroom.

“Bathong (my goodness), when did Bernard and Wendy split to the point of having 6 children with his new wife?” one shocked user asked.

Another addes: “I feel like you skipped a whole chapter. When did you and Wendy divorce?”

A third user shared a photograph of Parker and Wendy looking cozy in 2024, as shown in the X thread below, asking: “Wait a minute 😳 this was 2024!! When did the 3 years start?”

While the public is only finding out now, NOWinSA can reveal that the signs of Parker’s new life were there a year ago.

Watch: NOWinSA exclusive footage from October 2025 capturing Bernard Parker and Kacha Stepanovic at Fourways MMall.

In October 2025, a member of our team captured exclusive footage of Parker during a family shopping outing at Fourways Mall.

The video shows the soccer legend standing beside a white car, accompanied by Kacha and a toddler.

At the time, our reporter recognised Parker but was deeply surprised to see him with another woman, as Wendy was still widely known as his wife.

We retained the footage, which we can now definitively confirm features Kacha.

While the video captures a standard family outing, it leaves the exact timeline of when his marriage to Wendy legally ended shrouded in mystery.

The personal drama comes at a turbulent time on the pitch for Parker — as TS Galaxy prepare to face Orlando Pirates on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7.30pm.

As domestic league action returns following the international break, the Rockets desperately need points to climb out of the bottom half of the Betway Premiership table.

However, with his personal life now completely exposed, all eyes will be on the TS Galaxy bench to see how the coach navigates the immense pressure during tonight’s high-stakes match.
