Milania Giudice Shares Bipolar Disorder Diagnosis, Says She’s Receiving Treatment
0Milania Giudice, daughter of Teresa Giudice from “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” is opening up about her mental health journey.
Milania, who recently made headlines after a video surfaced of her yelling at her mom and sister in an airport in September while surrounded by police officers, opened up about what she’s going through in an Instagram video shared Monday.
“I do struggle with mental health issues,” the 20-year-old said. “I am bipolar. I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD, and I am not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders because I’m currently at a treatment center ― my mom’s on her way to come visit me today.”

Milania shared she does “work on myself,” but added she is “only 20 years old and this summer hit me like a bus ― a lot of things happened in a short period of time.”
While Milania didn’t go into specifics, she was arrested for domestic violence in May. She’s also been open about the death of her best friend, Victoria Zardoya, who died in July after a friend said she “sustained fatal injuries due to a devastating fall” while on a trip in Florida with friends.

“I’m trying to just process everything,” the reality star noted. “It’s really hard being in the public light while you go through things in life.”
“So I just want to say I’m sorry because I was grown up on pure respect, love, and I just haven’t been showing the Milania that I want to show and I want to do better,” the University of Tampa student added. “I want to continue working on myself and try to completely change everything I’ve been posting and everything because I want to help people in life.”
Teresa Guidice recently issued a statement asking for privacy for Milania after bodycam footage was shared of the 20-year-old’s incident in September at the airport.
“As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety, and well-being of my children,” the reality star said in a lengthy statement shared on Instagram. “The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life.”
“Milania has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for,” she explained.
The Bravo star signed off by “asking, from one mother to another, and from one family to all of you, to please show Milania compassion and kindness and allow her the privacy she needs right now.”
