“Respect Yourself And Return The Money, Atiku Will Come After You” – Kenneth Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo has claimed that Atiku Abubakar would pursue the recovery of misappropriated public funds if elected president, warning those allegedly responsible to return the money.

Speaking on Channels Television, Okonkwo said he had access to privileged information indicating that Atiku intended to recover public funds allegedly misappropriated by individuals who served under his potential administration.

“All the people that mismanaged, misapplied, misappropriated Nigerian money under the Atiku presidency, once he, Atiku, had been declared the winner, respect yourself and return the money,” Okonkwo said.

He maintained that Atiku would seek to recover the money for Nigerians, adding that his administration would tackle what he described as impunity in the oil and gas sector and other areas of the economy.

To support his argument, Okonkwo cited the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, claiming that some individuals returned money during that period, while others reportedly made repayments after Obasanjo left office.

Okonkwo’s remarks presented the recovery of allegedly misappropriated public funds as a priority he believed Atiku would pursue if elected president.
