You called him a fraudster but you want his Gh¢10m, his G-Wagon and his houses – Lawyer fires
Lawyer Mary Ohenewaa Afful has caused a lot of talk on social media after she questioned Nana Akua Addo’s divorce demands from her husband Harold Duodu Norman.
In a graphic that is circulating online, the lawyer asked a simple but hard question – why would Nana Akua Addo accuse her husband of dealing in stolen cars and fraud, and still demand half of his money and properties?
According to reports, Nana Akua Addo filed for divorce on April 20, 2026. And her list of demands is huge:
Three apartments around Galaxy International School
40% shares in all companies owned by her husband
This list was first revealed by media personality Vim Lady and it has since gone viral.
Lawyer Mary Ohenewaa Afful said this raises a serious question. If you say your husband’s money comes from fraud and stolen cars, then the properties you are demanding may also be from that same fraud money. So why fight for it?
Her comment has divided Ghanaians. Some people agree with the lawyer. They say you cannot call someone a thief and still want to share his loot.
Others say Nana Akua Addo has every right to demand for what she suffered for in the marriage, no matter where the money came from. They say the law allows wives to claim properties acquired during marriage.
The divorce case is getting more complicated because there are about four cases between the couple in court. There is the divorce case itself, plus alleged domestic violence cases. Police said Harold Norman was arrested in August and is expected to appear in court after his hospital discharge.
For now, no court has decided who owns what. All the demands are still just allegations and reported claims.
But Lawyer Afful’s question has changed the conversation – from domestic violence to money and accountability.
