Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen, who was robbed at gunpoint last week, is ‘on the mend’ following a brutal attack in West Hollywood.

The actor, 37, took to Instagram to thank followers for all their support after he was assaulted by two thieves allegedly stealing his watch – and share a harrowing new photo of his injuries after he was hit multiple times over the head in the attack.

The grisly close-up photo captured his shirt, neckline, and cross necklace soaked with blood.

‘Thank you all for such kind and caring messages,’ he wrote. ‘I’m on the mend. Really grateful to God, law enforcement, medical and my friends and following for being so supportive. I’ll update more soon. God bless and be safe.’

Allen, who is best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars, revealed the horrific attack last week in shocking video showing blood gushing down the side of his head.

He captioned the video, ‘West Hollywood is not safe anymore.

‘Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.

‘Will update more soon. Let’s hope all these flock cameras that @karenbassla @gavinnewsom and everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless.’

In the video, a dazed Allen says, ‘I was just robbed outside of Laurel Supply, two dudes pointed a gun at me and a knife, call the police.’

Surveillance footage, which appeared to have been taken from a parking lot, showed two suspects approaching Allen as he opened his car doors.

They are seen pointing weapons at him, before hitting him in the head several times.

He has since had stitches to repair a laceration above his eye.

A spokesman for the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department previously confirmed to The Daily Mail the attack happened on Santa Monica Boulevard at approximately 9.05pm.

The statement read, ‘Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult, who stated he was approached by two male adults dressed in black clothing.

‘One suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet.

‘Shortly after, the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim’s watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

‘The victim sustained a laceration to his forehead. Los Angeles County Fire responded to the location and medically evaluated the victim; however, he was not transported to hospital.

‘Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact West Hollywood Station Detectives at 310-855-8850.’

Allen later told fans in his Instagram comment section that he did go to hospital and was ‘def concussed.’

He added, ‘weho is so unsafe’ and that the area is a ‘hell hole.’

Allen is best known as the love interest of Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), on the mystery series Pretty Little Liars, a role he played from 2010-2017.

He has since starred on crime drama series Walker and appeared in an episode of police procedural, The Rookie, this year.
