Atiku Could Suffer A Setback, God Loves Atiku, Atiku Did Not Love Himself–Elijah Ayodele
According to a report by Leadership News on Monday, October 12, 2026, Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Oke-Afa, Lagos, has outlined three possible scenarios that could shape the outcome of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, warning that President Bola Tinubu could lose if the contest proceeds to a second round of voting.
The cleric expressed concerns about the political uncertainties surrounding the forthcoming election, suggesting that developments during the electoral process could produce unexpected outcomes for the country’s major political figures.
Ayodele cautioned that Tinubu’s chances of securing another presidential term could be threatened if the election goes into a runoff. He also predicted that the 2027 presidential contest could result in the declaration of a state of emergency, raising concerns about possible disruptions to the electoral process.
Amid these uncertainties, the cleric advised Tinubu and members of his family to seek prayers as the country approaches the next general election. He made the predictions in a video that circulated on social media on Sunday.
Ayodele also expressed reservations about the political future of Vice-President Kashim Shettima, suggesting that he might not be allowed to retain his current position as preparations for the 2027 presidential election gather momentum.
The religious leader further discussed the prospects of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, warning that the opposition politician could face significant difficulties because of decisions he had made.
According to Ayodele, Atiku might not fully appreciate the challenges ahead, which could undermine his political ambitions and affect his chances in the forthcoming presidential contest. He suggested that some of the difficulties the former vice-president could encounter might stem from his own political choices rather than being caused entirely by his opponents.
The cleric urged Atiku to pay closer attention to the unfolding political situation, warning that his approach could have consequences for his future political aspirations.
Speaking about Atiku’s prospects and the possibility of Tinubu being allowed to continue in office, Ayodele said, “Protocol will kill Atiku. Careful, Atiku will kill Atiku. And if they now allow Tinubu, I’m saying it, it may establish my prophecy, right? But God loves Atiku, Atiku did not love himself.”
