Farmers urged to clear Kissan Card dues by 26th

LAHORE –  The process of collecting payments for the fourth phase of the Chief Minister Punjab Kissan Card Programme is set to begin. A spokesperson of the Punjab Agriculture Department said here on Sun­day that all Kissan Card holders would receive SMS notifications regarding payment of their outstand­ing bills on October 15, 2026. Farmers have been urged to ensure payment of their outstanding Kis­san Card dues by October 26, 2026, to become eli­gible for a chance to win valuable prizes through a lucky draw. The prizes to be awarded through the draw will include tractors, mobile phones and mo­torcycles. The spokesperson further said that the amount for the next interest-free agricultural loan would be credited to a farmer’s Kissan Card within 48 hours of payment of the outstanding bill. Farm­ers can pay their Kissan Card bills at the nearest Bank of Punjab branch, through interbank funds transfer or via Raast ID, he said.
