I’m Not Best Friend Of El-Rufai; I Advised Him To Be Careful,That He’ll Go To Jail Or Exile-Galadima

NDC chieftain Buba Galadima has revealed that he warned former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai to be careful about how he conducts himself, predicting that he could end up in jail or be forced into exile.

Galadima made this statement during an interview on SYMFONI TV on Sunday, October 11, 2026, while discussing El-Rufai’s political situation and his relationship with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking about his relationship with the former governor, the NDC chieftain clarified that he was not El-Rufai’s closest friend but disclosed that he had previously cautioned him about the possible consequences of his actions and conduct.

“I’m not the best friend of El-Rufai, in fact I advised him that he should be careful of the way he carries himself that he either goes on exile or they jail him,” Galadima said.

His statement suggests that he had anticipated the possibility of serious consequences for El-Rufai based on the way he was conducting himself politically. However, Galadima did not, in the quoted remarks, provide specific details about when he issued the warning or the particular actions that prompted his advice.
