Ayodele also warned that the election could trigger a state of emergency, potentially leading to a disruption of the electoral process, while urging Tinubu and his family to seek prayers.
The cleric made the remarks in a video circulating on social media on Sunday, where he also suggested that Vice-President Kashim Shettima might not be allowed to remain in his position.
“I want to tell Tinubu straight. If this election goes to runoff, sincerely, you will not win,” Ayodele said.
“Three things can happen to this election. The election might go to runoff, that might runoff Tinubu,” he said.
“The election might cause state of emergency, whereby they wanted to stop this election, and there may not be a result. Then three, Tinubu needs prayers. The family of Tinubu listen to a prophet now.”
Ayodele further cautioned that Tinubu could face consequences if he insisted on seeking a second term, adding that the process might involve casualties.
“If Tinubu enforces himself to go for second term, I don’t know what will happen. I’m not in the hand of that government,” he said.
“There may be casualty. Honestly. And Shettima may not even be allowed.”
The cleric, however, said Tinubu could still secure victory if he took the right steps, even as he argued that former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar could undermine his own chances.
According to Ayodele, Atiku’s actions and failure to heed what he described as the word of God could work against him.
“Tinubu can still defeat Atiku,” he said.
“As it is now, if they vote, they will not vote Tinubu. Atiku having a little bit of chances. But Atiku have not seen now.”
He added that Atiku could suffer a setback because of his own decisions, warning that the former vice-president might be underestimating the challenges ahead.
“Protocol will kill Atiku. Careful, Atiku will kill Atiku. And if they now allow Tinubu, I’m saying it, it may establish my prophecy, right? But God loves Atiku, Atiku did not love himself.”
Ayodele also maintained that Nigeria could suffer the consequences of political developments surrounding the election, saying his concerns were driven by a desire to prevent hardship for the country.
“I am telling you, Nigeria will only suffer it. But we don’t want Nigeria to suffer. But Atiku did not see what is ahead of him,” he said.
The cleric concluded by warning that political actions could have consequences, urging the President to consider the possibility of what he described as revenge or nemesis.
“Honestly, Tinubu could have been the best, but Tinubu did not see that there’s always revenge, nemesis. For anything we are looking for in this world, let’s watch carefully,” he said.
