Iran: I Stopped Them From Destroying Israel, The Middle East, And Europe – Trump

According to a report by Al Jazeera on Saturday, October 10, 2026, US President Donald Trump has claimed that he prevented Iran from destroying Israel, the Middle East and Europe, while maintaining that the ongoing conflict with Tehran is one of two wars he expects to “settle or win”.

Trump made the remarks while discussing the conflict involving Iran and the Russia-Ukraine war, both of which he has expressed confidence in bringing to an end.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, the US president also criticised the decision surrounding the Nobel Peace Prize and repeated his claim that he had prevented Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Trump described his actions against Iran as a major achievement, arguing that his intervention had saved lives and prevented widespread destruction across several regions.

“I stopped Iran from having a Nuclear Weapon, and blowing up the entire Middle East and, ultimately, far beyond! I saved more lives than anyone in History,” he wrote.

He further maintained that his actions had prevented Iran from carrying out attacks that could have threatened Israel and other parts of the world.

“I stopped them from destroying Israel, the Middle East, and Europe.”

The president’s comments come as the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran continues to attract international attention, with growing concerns about regional security and the potential consequences of further military escalation.

Trump has repeatedly highlighted what he considers his achievements in confronting Iran, insisting that the conflict can ultimately be resolved or won.

He has also linked his expectations for ending the war with Iran to his stated ambition of bringing the Russia-Ukraine conflict to a conclusion.

However, the conflicts continue to raise concerns about their wider regional and international implications as diplomatic efforts and military developments remain under close scrutiny.
