“Am I the One You’re Calling a Thief?” Old Video of Seidu MBA Confronting Kojo Bamba Surfaces

According to a report by Ghanaweb on Sunday, October 11, 2026, an old video showing a confrontation between Kojo Bamba and Seidu MBA, who describes himself as a personal bodyguard of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has resurfaced following Bamba’s election as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) First Vice Chairman.

Kojo Bamba, whose real name is Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, recently secured the position during the NPP’s national executive elections. His victory has generated mixed reactions among party supporters and members of the public.

Some NPP supporters believe his background as a former leader of the Bamba Boys and Delta Forces could help the party defend itself against attacks, particularly during election periods. However, others have expressed concern that his elevation could revive political vigilantism and threaten the country’s democratic progress.

The resurfaced video has attracted attention because it shows an earlier disagreement between Bamba and Seidu MBA at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

According to the available account, Seidu confronted Bamba over alleged insulting comments directed at him. During the exchange, Seidu questioned why Bamba would reportedly describe him as a thief despite claiming to have supported him financially and provided him with work.

The footage also shows Seidu pushing one of the men accompanying Bamba, who appears to respond by attempting to push him back.

The situation reportedly became tense, prompting police officers and other individuals present to intervene. They managed to separate the men before the disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation.

The video’s reappearance has renewed discussions about Kojo Bamba’s political background and concerns surrounding vigilantism in Ghana.
