Ghanaian starlet GOAL MONGER Prince Appiah Amoah reaches 20-goal mark in his debut season with FK Metta in the Latvian First League
The 19-year-old free-scoring forward, who has taken the Latvian second-tier contest by storm with his goalscoring prowess this season, hit the scoring milestone with the Riga-based club after bagging a goal in yesterday’s Latvian Future League clash
Ghanaian teenage sensation wing-forward Prince Appiah Amoah was on target for FK Metta in their 4-0 drubbing of Riga Mariners in the Latvian First League on Saturday.
The promising goal monger, who came very close to joining Swedish Allsvenskan side Djurgarden IF in the summer of 2025, has now racked up 20 goals across all competitions for the Futbola centrs Rūpnīca Stadium campaigners so far this season.
With his remarkable scoring spree, FK Metta are now occupying the 1st position in the league standings with 57 points after 22 round of game matches in the Latvia 1. Liga 2026-27 campaign.
Given his scintillating talent as a budding star, the MSK Zilina Africa product has now become a future prospect for the Ghana national football team.
With the 2027 TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set to be hosted by Ghana, the Ghana FA U20 technical handlers ought to monitor his progress as a potential candidate for a call-up ahead of the start of the tournament scheduled for February–March 2027.
