Ruto pledges Ksh100M to kick-start university construction in Likuyani

President William Ruto has pledged Ksh100 million to kick-start the construction of a training centre on land donated to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in Likuyani, Kakamega County.President William Ruto said on Sunday, October 11, 2026, that he would send Beatrice Inyang’ala, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Education, to Likuyani the following week to follow up on the proposed training centre during a church service in the area.
