The man, aged 27, was arrested on Saturday evening, on suspicion of possession of a firearm following the disturbance on Temple Road, Willenhall, at about 17:45 BST on Friday.
Six other men were arrested on suspicion of affray as part of the investigation, while one person was hurt, but no one is believed to have suffered gunshot injuries.
All seven men have been released on bail with conditions, while the investigation continues.
Temporary Ch Insp Kate Tromans, of Walsall Police, said: "We understand the real concern that this violent incident has caused in the community.
"There will be more visibility from our officers in the area today and over the coming days to reassure the community and give people the chance to talk to us.
"Our Major Crime Unit is working hard to understand the full circumstances of what happened, and bring everyone involved into custody."
