I Will Bomb Iran’s Ports, Roads, and The Bridges Until Life Becomes Very Difficult For Them”O’Reilly
According to a video posted by Piers Morgan on October 9, 2026, Bill O’Reilly has outlined what he believes could happen if Iran fails to comply with the terms of its ceasefire agreement, warning that continued US military pressure could target the country’s critical infrastructure.
The comments came during a discussion with Piers Morgan, who questioned how Washington could force Tehran to honour the agreement without deploying ground troops into Iran.
O’Reilly argued that Iran’s economy was already facing severe difficulties, pointing to inflation that he said had risen above 100 per cent.
He explained that further American strikes on ports, roads and bridges could intensify the economic pressure on Iran and make everyday life increasingly difficult for its citizens. According to O’Reilly, such attacks would serve as an alternative to a ground invasion, which he insisted would not happen.
In his words, Bill O’Reilly said, “Well, inflation is running more than 100% over there now. So he’ll bomb the ports.
“He’ll bomb the infrastructure, the roads, the bridges, all of those will go and it’ll make life very, very difficult for the individual Persian,” he said.
Morgan subsequently asked what the United States would do if Iran retaliated by attacking neighbouring Gulf states rather than directly confronting American forces. He noted that Tehran had already demonstrated a willingness to use such tactics during the conflict.
O’Reilly acknowledged that Iran still had the capacity to inflict damage through attacks on neighbouring countries. However, he argued that the country’s overall ability to sustain a prolonged war had been significantly weakened since the conflict began.
He based his assessment on what he described as current American intelligence assessments, suggesting that Iran’s military capabilities had been considerably reduced.
O’Reilly compared the possible outcome to a prolonged war of attrition, arguing that conditions inside Iran would continue to deteriorate if the country’s leadership refused to cooperate.
His comments highlighted the potential economic and infrastructure consequences of continued military pressure on Tehran, even without a direct ground invasion by American forces.
