The result lifted Barcelona to 24 points, keeping them top of the standings, while Getafe remained 13th with eight points after struggling to contain their opponents for much of the encounter.
Barcelona wasted little time establishing their authority, with Gordon breaking the deadlock less than two minutes after kick-off. His effort took a deflection off Getafe defender MartÃn before slipping past goalkeeper David Soria.
The early goal allowed the hosts to dictate the game as they repeatedly attempted to penetrate Getafe’s defensive structure through quick, forward passes.
Dani Olmo operated between the lines, helping Barcelona find spaces in the visitors’ defence, while Yamal attracted close attention from multiple defenders on the right flank.
Despite the pressure on Yamal, Barcelona exploited the space elsewhere on the pitch to maintain their attacking threat.
Jesus extended the lead in the 30th minute after advancing down the left and finding an opportunity to shoot. His effort wrong-footed Soria, who was moving in the opposite direction as the ball found the net.
Getafe struggled to respond before the interval, with Barcelona taking a two-goal advantage into half-time.
Getafe improved after the restart, and Mojica came close to reducing the deficit with an effort from the left that narrowly missed the target.
Barcelona weathered the brief pressure and gradually regained control, with Rodri helping to organise possession and dictate the pace of the game.
Dani Olmo later supplied a through ball following a forward move near the Getafe penalty area, but the resulting effort was directed straight at Soria, who made a comfortable save.
The hosts eventually added a third goal in the 73rd minute. Yamal delivered a cross from the right towards the far post, where Koundé arrived to guide the ball into the net.
Yamal had an opportunity to add his name to the scoresheet later in the match but sent his effort wide after a cross from Adeyemi.
Barcelona saw out the remaining minutes without conceding, completing a convincing victory that maintained their position at the top of the Spanish league table.
