Ruto Finishes Mazingira Day In Style as He Makes Impromptu Visit to Kollel Dairy Farm in Western

President William Ruto has concluded his national Mazingira Day celebrations in style by making an unannounced stopover at the Koilel Dairy Farm following his official engagements in Trans-Nzoia County.

The Head of State has taken time out of his intensive regional itinerary to tour the agricultural facility, highlighting his personal passion for modern farming and livestock production.

Following the formal tree-planting exercises and public addresses at Elgon Downs in Endebess, President Ruto has redirected his entourage toward the private agricultural establishment.

Upon his arrival, farm management and technical workers have welcomed the President, guiding him through the zero-grazing units, feeding structures, and automated milking parlors.

The Head of State has engaged directly with the farm operators, inspecting high-breed dairy cattle and evaluating modern feed preparation techniques.

During the spontaneous visit, President Ruto has personally inspected feeding troughs and reviewed daily production metrics with agricultural officers on site.

He has praised the facility for adopting sustainable livestock farming practices that align with national environmental and food security targets.

The visit has underscored the administration’s broader push to modernize dairy farming across Western Kenya and boost local agricultural output.

This unscripted stopover has added a relaxed, hands-on dimension to the President’s first day of his ten-day tour across six North Rift and Western counties.

By stepping onto the farm, President Ruto has demonstrated his continuous commitment to supporting private agricultural enterprises alongside state-funded development projects.

The impromptu tour has provided a memorable finish to the Mazingira Day celebrations in Trans-Nzoia.

As his regional tour progresses, President Ruto has set a conversational tone, combining political rallies with direct engagement in grassroots agricultural ventures.
