CM Maryam approves Rs10b flour subsidy, boosts wheat quota to rein in prices

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a Rs10 billion subsidy and decided to increase the quota of subsidised government wheat supplied to flour mills at Rs3,800 per maund to curb rising flour prices and ensure uninterrupted supplies of affordable flour and low-cost roti.Punjab CM orders uninterrupted supply of affordable flour as wheat and flour prices climb
