Man Demands GH₵75k From Fiancée After Discovering He’s Not the Biological Father of Their Daughter

A paternity controversy has emerged between Moses Sarewa and his fiancée, Theresa Ataa, after a DNA test reportedly indicated that he is not the biological father of their six-month-old daughter.

Moses brought the matter to the Obra Show, aired on NHYIRA FM and ADOM TV, seeking assistance in resolving doubts about the child’s paternity.

He disclosed that he had secretly arranged for a DNA test after several attempts to persuade Theresa to agree to one reportedly proved unsuccessful.

According to Moses, the test results showed that he was not the child’s biological father, despite the financial assistance, emotional support and physical commitment he said he had provided throughout the pregnancy.

He added that he had continued to take care of both Theresa and the baby after the birth.

Theresa reportedly did not appear on the programme after receiving advice from her uncle.

She also challenged the circumstances surrounding the test and maintained that another DNA examination should be conducted to establish the truth.

The programme’s host, Ohemaa Benewaa, attempted to facilitate a fresh test to resolve the disagreement.

However, efforts by the show’s team to arrange another examination were unsuccessful, as Theresa and her uncle reportedly remained unwilling to participate in the programme and undergo a new test.

The disagreement subsequently escalated, with Moses demanding GH₵75,000 from his fiancée as compensation over the circumstances surrounding their relationship and the disputed paternity.

The demand sparked a heated confrontation between the two, during which Theresa accused Moses of being impotent.

She also indicated that she was prepared to pay the amount he was requesting, while making further allegations about his sexual ability.

“So you want GH₵75,000? We will pay you your money, but we shall see. You will return to Akyem Techiman, and I will deal with you. You impotent man! You are impotent!” she reportedly said.

Moses rejected the accusation, describing it as an attempt to humiliate him amid the ongoing dispute.

With the disagreement unresolved, Moses is demanding either a fresh DNA test or payment of the GH₵75,000 compensation he is seeking. He has also suggested that he could pursue legal action if the matter is not settled.
