Industrialists, shopkeepers and food sellers urged to co-operate with campaign
Expressing his thoughts, Chaudhry said: āPlastic makes everything dirty.ā He added that the interior minister had pledged to make Islamabad plastic-free by the end of the year.
Plastic will no longer be allowed in Islamabad after 31 December, he said.
He called on all industrialists, shopkeepers, street vendors and dhaba owners to co-operate with the campaign.
Milk, yoghurt and meat sellers have been given a few days to arrange alternatives to plastic, Chaudhry said.
