52nd OIC foreign ministers session 2026 scheduled for Oct 17 and 18
The foreign ministers of Islamic countries are due to meet in Baghdad next week to discuss the situation in the Middle East amid growing threats to peace and security, according to sources.
The 52nd meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers is scheduled for October 17 and 18.
The discussions will focus on the Middle East situation and resolving disputes through dialogue.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is likely to attend the meeting, sources said.
Foreign ministers from Türkiye, Egypt, Palestine, Mauritania, Indonesia and other countries are also expected to take part.
