Nana Akua Addo Could Be Enduring Abuse for Two Reasons – Oheneni Adazoa

Oheneni Adazoa, host of the domestic affairs programme Ahenfie, has offered possible explanations for why fashion icon Nana Akua Addo may have remained in an allegedly abusive marriage for years.

In a preview of her show, Oheneni suggested that the fashion personality might have been reluctant to leave the relationship because of fears that her husband could expose compromising material about her.

She also speculated that another possible reason could be the nature of their intimate relationship.

“Accomplished women like Nana Akua would only endure such an abusive marriage for only two reasons.

“She may be enduring it for fear of some videos the man could leak to the public if she left the marriage or the man is too good in bed,” she said.

The presenter expressed concern over the alleged abuse, particularly after a widely circulated video appeared to show Nana Akua Addo’s husband, Harold Norman, repeatedly slapping their daughter.

Reacting to the footage, Oheneni questioned why Nana Akua Addo appeared to respond by shouting at her husband rather than physically confronting him.

Her comments reflected her anger over the alleged assault and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The case involving Nana Akua Addo and her husband has generated considerable public discussion across various media platforms, with renewed attention on domestic abuse and the protection of victims and children.

On October 9, 2026, Gender Minister Agnes Naa Momo Lartey visited Nana Akua Addo to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and assure the family of the ministry’s support in addressing the matter.

The case was initially scheduled to be heard in court on October 7, 2026.

However, Harold Norman reportedly failed to appear after being hospitalised, according to a police report.
