Pensacola police are asking residents to remain indoors and not try to travel down city streets.

In a statement from the PPD, the department said, “Many (streets) are dark because of power outages and there are many locations that have low hanging hazards.”

The PPD also said city streets are currently filled with debris that can puncture tires.
