The High Court in Kampala has rejected a prosecution request to admit a khaki envelope and flash disk containing audio and video recordings linked to the treason trial of Dr Kizza Besigye and his co-accused as evidence, ruling that the witness who presented them was not competent to tender them.

However, Justice Emmanuel Baguma allowed the two items to remain on court record for identification purposes.

Mr Andrew Wilson, alias Orlando, made the disclosure while responding to questions from Chief State Attorney Richard Birivumbuka during re-examination.
