Details have emerged about the assurances given by Wicknell Chivayo’s brother, GSIX, regarding the future of the late businessman’s children during his emotional burial at Glenforest Memorial Park in Harare.

Addressing mourners at the graveside ceremony, GSIX, also known as G6, pledged that the children would continue receiving the care, protection and financial support they needed following their father’s death.

He explained that Wicknell had taken steps to secure his children’s future by making arrangements involving family trusts, businesses and properties. These provisions were reportedly intended to protect their interests and ensure they continued benefiting from the wealth their father accumulated during his lifetime.

GSIX emphasised that the family was committed to preserving the late businessman’s achievements and ensuring his children remained central to future decisions concerning his estate.
