Photograph: Justin Downing/Sky/HBO/New PicturesTV tonight: things get nasty in War’s blockbuster divorceOne of the lawyers is a mole in Sienna Miller and Dominic West’s soapy drama. Plus: the Lionesses shoot for the World Cup. Here’s what to watch this evening
9pm, Sky AtlanticThe naughty divorce drama – made even juicier by its casting of two huge stars, Sienna Miller and Dominic West, whose own eventful relationships have been under the press spotlight – picks up after actor Carla is served on the red carpet (inspired by a representative for Jason Sudeikis handing Olivia Wilde custody papers on stage). Things look even worse for her as eager junior solicitor Johnny starts his first day on her legal team – as a mole for her husband’s side. Hollie Richardson
8pm, BBC TwoMonty Don guides us into autumn in his last series of the well-loved gardening show. Pruning roses, planting spring cabbages and storing apples are all on the week’s to-do list. Elsewhere, Rachel de Thame learns about wild flowers that help wildlife, and Toby Buckland has some handy budget gardening hacks. HR
9pm, Sky OneRoad trip! With medical supplies running low, Maggie and dishy surgeon Luis strike out from zombified New York to try to locate a suspiciously well-stocked trader. But back at base, there are ominous rumblings when astute community leader Renata tries to domesticate bat-swinging badass Negan. Graeme Virtue
9.05pm, Channel 5“See anything you like?” kebab shop worker Mo (Antonio Aakeel) asks Ellora Torchia’s lawyer Laila. She does: him. Pity she is on her hen night, and he’s an illegal migrant. Is she prepared to take the ensuing affair to another level? And what bigger dangers might they be inviting, professionally and personally? A gut-punch drama from Mina Barber. Ali Catterall
10.40pm, BBC OneA few months ago, Alexander Skarsgård and Olivia Colman caused quite a stir with a horny trailer for their new film Wicker – leading to many a “husband material” meme. Now, they’re telling Graham what fans can expect. Plus, John Malkovich chats about his dark new comedy Wild Horse Nine and there’s music from Orville Peck. HR
View image in fullscreenThe way they were: Cymande, circa 1970. Photograph: Michael Ochs Archives/Getty ImagesCult London collective Cymande were funk pioneers from the Windrush generation who found themselves marginalised in the racially charged UK of the 70s. But years after disbanding, their cosmic grooves inspired hip-hop hits in the US. This affecting film charts the group’s origins, afterlife and resurgence. GV
Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger (Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, 2026), Disney+With more sold-out dates next year, 90s rock blokes Oasis are sustaining the pomp and circumstance they generated with their 2025 reunion, the subject of this entertaining film. The two directors, with writer Steven Knight, document the tour from tense rehearsals to the warm glow of US acclaim – and, more interestingly, the thawing of relations between Liam and Noel Gallagher after 15 years of silence. The brothers’ contrasting styles are endlessly fascinating: Liam, with his “big boy pants” on, is cocky and sharply witty, while a nervous Noel seems surprised at how well it’s all going. The hatchet-burying takes a while but there’s always a singalong hit to catch while you wait. Simon Wardell
Longlegs (Osgood Perkins, 2024), 10pm, BBC Two
View image in fullscreenUnsettling … Maika Monroe in Longlegs. Photograph: APThis is a film in which every shot is creepy. Whether it’s a weird angle, shadowy lighting or just some pale yellow walls (as seen in Backrooms), there’s an ever-present dread that something bad is going to happen – and it very often does. Osgood Perkins’ nerve-shredding horror follows a series of crimes in which fathers murder their families, then kill themselves. Left at each scene is a letter in code, signed “Longlegs”. Maika Monroe’s intuitive FBI agent Lee takes the case and becomes increasingly haunted by it, while Nicolas Cage gives a suitably out-there cameo as her nemesis. SW
