KP leaders pay tribute to Karak police martyrs
Peshawar – Special Assistant to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Tariq Saeed Marwat has paid tribute to SHO Banda Daud Shah Police Station Daud Khan and police gunner Farhad, who were martyred in an attack in the New Karpa area of Karak district.
Tariq Saeed Marwat said the sacrifices of police personnel in the fight against terrorism would never be forgotten, and praised their courage, determination and commitment in confronting terrorists.
He commended the efforts of law-enforcement agencies against terrorists and criminal elements and stressed the need to intensify efforts to bring those responsible for the attack to justice.

The Special Assistant said the sacrifices of the two police personnel would not go in vain and that law-enforcement agencies would continue discharging their duties with courage and dedication.
Expressing sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families, he said police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty were a source of pride for the nation. He added that police officers had made immense sacrifices to maintain law and order and protect the lives and property of citizens.
The funeral prayers of SHO Daud Khan and gunner Farhad were offered with full state honours at New Police Lines, Karak. Commissioner Kohat Moatasim Billah, Regional Police Officer Kohat Irfan Tariq, District Police Officer Karak Imran Khan, Deputy Commissioner Karak Asad Sarwar, senior police and civil administration officials and other police personnel attended the funeral.
Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep grief over the deaths of the two police personnel, including the station house officer, who were shot dead by armed assailants in Karak.
The Governor extended condolences to the bereaved families and said the police personnel had embraced martyrdom while performing their duties. He said their sacrifices would always be remembered.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for strength and patience for the bereaved families to bear the loss.
