Ndindi Nyoro Alleges the One Thing Ruto Will Never Achieve Despite Having a Lot of Money

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has sent a strong message to President William Ruto, declaring that political influence and power will not make him abandon the principles he believes brought him into leadership.

Nyoro made the remarks while defending his continued criticism of decisions involving public institutions and the management of Kenyans’ money.

“William Ruto can buy the entire Parliament but he will never place any value to some of us because we will never betray the reason why we’re leaders in the country,” Nyoro said.

The remarks came shortly after the legislator was suspended from transacting business on the floor of Parliament for five sitting days after refusing to apologise over claims concerning investments in Kenya Pipeline Company shares. Speaker Moses Wetang’ula had directed him to withdraw his remarks or provide evidence to support his allegations.

Nyoro declined to apologise, maintaining that he had spoken the truth and needed more time to substantiate his claims. He later insisted that he would continue questioning decisions affecting public resources despite the disciplinary action.

The Kiharu MP has particularly raised concerns about the involvement of institutions such as NSSF, Kenya Re and the Public Service Superannuation Fund in investments, arguing that public institutions should make independent decisions based on professional advice.

He has also accused political leaders of attempting to influence investment decisions, a claim that has generated heated debate in Parliament and outside the House.

Nyoro’s latest statement is likely to further fuel political discussions surrounding his relationship with the Kenya Kwanza administration. The lawmaker has increasingly positioned himself as a vocal critic of government decisions while insisting that his role as an elected representative requires him to question matters affecting Kenyans.

His remarks come at a time when political alignments ahead of the 2027 General Election are already taking shape, with Nyoro maintaining a firm position on accountability and the management of public resources.
